Natural skincare routine for sensitive skin

A simple method to soothe, repair, and protect your skin
Sensitive skin doesn't give warning signs.
Redness, tingling, tightness, burning sensation… it reacts quickly, sometimes without apparent reason.
👉 The problem is not always with the skin itself
👉 But often with a weakened skin barrier
The solution is not to do more.
👉 It's to do less, but better.
🔥 0. Is your skin burning? Soothe it immediately
Is your skin heating up, feeling tight, or reacting strongly?
👉 Stop your routine and go back to basics.
Step 1 – Soothe
Spray:

Let it air dry naturally. Do not rub.
Step 2 – Protect
Apply immediately:
- the Reactive Control soothing rich cream from Eau thermale Jonzac
- or the neutral cream from Bioflore

👉 Goal: calm inflammation and restore the skin barrier
❓ Why does your skin react?
Sensitive skin can be triggered by:
- fragrance (even natural)
- essential oils
- overly aggressive skincare
- stress or fatigue
- temperature variations
👉 In all cases: the skin is weakened
👉 The basic routine
- Cleanse
- Hydrate
- Nourish
- Protect
- Supplements (optional)
1. Cleanse (gently and with balance)
Cleansing sensitive skin = cleansing without aggressing
👉 Double cleansing can be useful…
👉 but only if it remains gentle and balanced
When to double cleanse?
Yes if:
- you wear makeup
- you use sun protection
- you are exposed to pollution
No if:
- your skin is not heavily stressed
- in the morning
Step 1 – Remove makeup / dissolve
- Indigène chamomile makeup remover (without essential oils)
- Jonzac high tolerance micellar water and possibly the micellar jelly for eyes from the same Reactive Control range
- Micellar water or Nourist Cleanser
👉 Without rubbing

Step 2 – Cleanse

👉 Your skin should be clean, but comfortable (never tight)
💡 In the morning: often no need to cleanse → clear water or very gentle cleansing is enough
2. Hydrate (optional but useful)
Hydration helps to:
- reduce reactivity
- support repair
👉 But be careful:
very sensitive skin tolerates certain scented ingredients poorly, even natural ones
In this routine, we remain minimalist.
👉 We favor soothing toners such as Eau thermale Jonzac's pure thermal water, or a Roman chamomile hydrosol (Bioflore). For tired or irritated eyes, a cotton pad soaked in cornflower hydrosol also provides relief.
3. Nourish & soothe (the core of the routine)
This is where it all happens.
🌿 Very sensitive / reactive skin
Indigène Soothing Serum (without essential oils)
- minimalist formula
- soothing calendula
- repairing squalane
👉 The safest choice

🌿Sensitive skin with imbalances (redness, imperfections)
- helps rebalance skin
- supports the skin barrier
- acts on:
- redness
- imperfections
- irritations
- fragrance-free
- non-comedogenic
👉 ideal if your skin is sensitive but also unstable

🌿 Dry sensitive skin
Bioflore Radiance Fluid (without essential oils)
- intensely nourishes
- provides comfort and suppleness
- protects against oxidative stress

⚠️ Important:
- choose only one serum
- don't layer too many products
👉 Too many products = more irritation
4. Protect (essential step)
Sensitive skin must be protected daily.
👉 This is what prevents reactions from returning
🌿 Very sensitive / allergic skin
Reactive Control soothing rich cream from Eau thermale Jonzac
- fragrance-free
- dermatologically tested
- strengthens the microbiome
👉 Dermatological reference
🌿 Skin in crisis or ultra-reactive
- simple and effective formula

- ideal for reactions
👉 Emergency solution that works
🌿 Sensitive but stable skin
Nourist soothing and repairing moisturizing cream
- hydrates and protects
- acts against external aggressions
- supports the skin barrier
👉 For a more complete routine
5. Supplements (optional)
- occasional repairing treatments
- nourishing oils for dryness
👉 Always test first
⚠️ To absolutely avoid
- fragrance (even natural)
- essential oils
- harsh alcohol
- strong exfoliants
👉 Sensitive skin prefers simplicity
💡 In summary
A good routine for sensitive skin:
- soothes
- repairs
- protects
👉 3 to 4 steps are largely sufficient
