This large herbaceous plant from the lemongrass family thrives in tropical regions. It can reach three meters high and its long leaves are very fragrant. As soon as you crush them, a slightly sweet and woody aroma emerges. Its essential oil, with scents close to those of Geranium, offers us floral, rosy and feminine notes.
There is much to be gained from such an essential oil, particularly for its fresh aroma which is greatly appreciated in the preparation of homemade deodorants, among others.
